Do you know about my favourite present?
I received my present at night time, just before we ate cke. I had to open it at home. I just could not wait much longer. It was finally time to open my presents. My first present was so BIG. To me it sounded like it was saying "open my Cassie, open me". I ripped the paper like there was no tomorrow. It was fluffy, purple and flat.
"At the moment it's flat because you need to fill it up" said my Mum.
I really wish I could tell you what it is.

Do you want to guess what my favourite present is? It is red and black. It can fly. It is smaller than a bike helmet. It goes faster than a remote control car. It sounds like a buzzy bee. It can go as high as a house. Have you guessed it yet? Do you want me to tell you?

Let me tell you about my birthday present. It is as yellow as a banana. It is so cosy and as soft as a blanket. It can be a pillow. We can put some toys and blankets in it.

You won't believe how incredible my birthday present was. The big present was waiting outside by the door. It said "To Teneille, Happy birthday, hope you like it". I took the big present into my room and I opened it. I ripped the paper off my present. It was really hard. I was puffed out because it was really heavy to carry. It felt like I was carrying a big mirror. Do you want to know what my present was? It was a laptop. Now you know about my awesome present.

Recount writing

On July the 16th I had a party at home. I invited Noah, Ryan C and Mum and Dad.

Knock Knock. I wondered who was at the door. It was my friends. Noah got me a ninja pinball and I opened the rest of my presents. 

Mmm what's that delicious smell? Mum's clocking the tes. I had saveloys and cake. 

It was a fantastic day. I wish it was my birthday every day.

Let me tell you about my birthday. My family and I were there. We had tea from a shop. My birthday was in October and we were at home.

First we had tea from McDonalds. It was so yummy that I was as happy as my little cousin Charlie.

Next I opened my presents. I had so many presents.

Third my family sang the happy birthday song to me.

Last we ate my biscuit fudge cake. I wish my birthday was today.
