Anzac drawings.

We used google drawings to create some visual language for Anzac day. Here are just a few of our finished pictures.
We used a green screen app, tagul and google drawings to create our pictures. We chose a filter to change the colour. Some people chose sepia, some chose red (for the blood of war) and some chose to keep theirs in colour.

Pay attention! Do you know that it is showing respect and responsibility to knock on classroom ddors?
Step 1. Collect the message.
Step 2. Teleport to the right place.
Step 3. When you get to the classroom, knock on the door as quietly as a hedgehog.
Step 4. Wait till the teacher says “come in.”
Step 5. Give the teacher the message as quietly as one of Ben 10’s transformers.
Step 6. Wait till the teacher responds.
Step 7. Glide back to your classroom.
Now you know the 7 steps for how to knock on classroom doors.

You need manners! You need them when you go into other classrooms. Here are a few hints to help you take messages without getting growled at by the teachers.
Step one. Listen carefully to the person giving you the message so that you do it properly. It is important because if you just walk in, then you are rude and you will get growled at by the teacher.
Step two. You need to collect the message from your teacher or Julie and then take it to the class it needs to go to. But you have to be as quiet as a mouse. You are not a herd of elephants!
Step three. Hike to the classroom and tiptoe. When you’re at the right place, knock on the door three times. Make sure you are not too quiet, or too loud.
Step four. Once you have finished knocking, quietly tiptoe in and wait for the teacher to respond to you. It is important that you DO NOT call out to her!
Step five. Give her the message. After that, go back to class.
Now you can use my instructions for what to do when you get a message.

They were the first people to climb to the summit of Mount Everest. Sir Edmund Hillary wanted a friend so he picked Sherpa Tenzing Norgay. On the 4th of January 1957 he went to the South Pole on a tractor. Sir Edmund Hillary is known for being the first person to stand and the North pole and the South pole. He is remembered because he is on the $5 note. He also created the Himalayan trust to help Nepal. He is a terribly cool explorer and he is so famous.
