We have been learning how to use Google Apps for education. We are so excited to be using this. It is a lot of fun to be a digital classroom. Miss Nielsen can copy and paste our stories straight from the documents into our blog, we are still learning how to spell check and use punctuation on the computer properly, but check these out.

Do you want to read my story about my life cycle?

When I was little I wore  nappies and I always sucked my pink dummy. (Please don’t tease me.)

Then maybe a year after I turned into a toddler. Apparently Mum said when I was 3 I said I’m a big girl and I didn’t use my dummy for a month or 2. I also went to preschool when I was a toddler and I had a BFF called Riley-may.

Then I turned into a KID! I LOVE BEING A KID! I’m a kid right now. Kids go to school just like me. When I Was 4, I was in a car accident and so was my Mum and Nan.  I was scared and I had butterflies in my tummy. But then my Nan got out of the car and sweared at the person that wasn’t watching where he was going and crashed into our car! Then when I turned 5 I started school and now I’m 7 and I go to room 7 at school! The school I go to is Invercargill Middle School, IT’S THE BEST SCHOOL EVER!

Do you know three things about me.The first thing I am going to tell you about is my fave aniamil.Well my favourite animal is a dog because they are SOOOO cute .The second thing is my fave spot.It is water polo because you get to go in the water and you get to play a spot at the same time .The last thing is my fave Holoday. Well my fave holiday is Christmas.Christmas is my fave holiday because you spend time with your family.

Do you know about my amazing life cycle? Let me tell you the 3 stages of my life cycle.

The first stage of my life cycle was being a cute baby. When I was a baby I wore nappies. I used to cry because I couldn't say anything that I wanted to.

Next I was an adventurous toddler. When I was a toddler I learnt how to walk and talk. My Mum taught me how to go to the toilet. 

Lastly the toddler changed into a child. Now I am a child. I am very honest. I do all of my work on my own. I can ride on my own bike.

Now you know my life cycle.

I think you need a healthy pep talk.

You should help open doors for your friends. I am saying that because I want you to be AWESOME! And otherwise your friends might get donked on the nose.

The next thing you have to do is listen to people. Listen to your friends. They might say something really beautiful to you, or they might give you something that you had never ever seen in your whole life. 

Third we just need to show respect to others.

Now you know how to be awesome.

Who thinks that dogs are better than cats? If you like cats better than dogs you must be crazy because dogs are way more amazing than cats.

First they can play fetch. This is better because they get their exercise.

The next reason is dogs are soft and cuddly and cute sometimes. This is good because cats will only scratch.

In the end you must agree you should go get one right now.

Everybody is awesome and yeah. You always have your own style. Never say anybody is ugly it's mean and they will cry and they aren't ugly. Nobody is ugly at all. Everybody is pretty and handsome in there own way.

Recount writing

On July the 16th I had a party at home. I invited Noah, Ryan C and Mum and Dad.

Knock Knock. I wondered who was at the door. It was my friends. Noah got me a ninja pinball and I opened the rest of my presents. 

Mmm what's that delicious smell? Mum's clocking the tes. I had saveloys and cake. 

It was a fantastic day. I wish it was my birthday every day.

Let me tell you about my birthday. My family and I were there. We had tea from a shop. My birthday was in October and we were at home.

First we had tea from McDonalds. It was so yummy that I was as happy as my little cousin Charlie.

Next I opened my presents. I had so many presents.

Third my family sang the happy birthday song to me.

Last we ate my biscuit fudge cake. I wish my birthday was today.
